Food.

Food.
Food is an interesting subject.
Food is tied to emotions. To our every day life. It is what combines different cultures and people.
It can bring happiness as well as sadness all in one ingredient.

What I find most entertaining is that we are all oblivious when it comes to food.
Most of us consider food as an enemy, society has made eating one of the most harmful things you can ever do.
If you eat then your fat if you don't eat then your anorexic.

For me on the other hand food brings happiness to my life, I can plan a whole day around one ingredient, my mood can be altered by eating one pastry or cheese.

Of course like every other human being I now find myself in the same position we are all in, I AM FAT.
What makes it worst is I look at pictures from about a year ago and I was happy with the way I looked, and I ate whatever I wanted. What changed--Well a series of things and multiple factors. I am now on a track of losing weight and becoming what I was before; body wise that is.

At the same time I still have the ability to play with food, to make myself happier, it reminds me of my family, friends and memories.

When I make onion soup, I think of this French Restaurant that I went to multiple times while I was in Bogota, Colombia.

When I see Blueberries I think of my mom, it brings me back to the apartment we have in Panama, and the jams I created with her by my side.

When I eat anything organic, vegan, vegetarian or out of this world crazy I think of my tia Jessica.

Leaving you with this.

What do you eat when you are celebrating?
